DH540 Double Hung Vinyl Replacement Window

PITTSBURGH— Thermal Industries announces the addition of the 540 Double Hung Window (DH540) to their extensive line of energy-efficient double hung window models. The 540 Double Hung Window comes standard with Thermal’s Peak PerformanceTM dual pane LoE2 and Argon-enhanced insulating glass package.

The DH540 was specifically engineered to handle larger window openings and decorative glass packages that are typical in homes constructed during the 80’s and 90’s, a section of the housing stock with a greater demand for replacement windows.

The DH540 was also designed with heavier, high-performance triple pane glass packages in mind. Kent Davis, Thermal’s engineering department manager states, “We expect the revised Energy Star U-value requirements scheduled to take effect in the Fall of 2013 to be much lower than the current .30 for the Northern zone, eliminating conventional dual glaze applications.

The DH540 is available with a variety of decorative options including Thermal Industries’ new White  WoodGrain Interior with Earthtone Exterior color in addition to their Honey and Caramel Oak interior finishes. Homeowners and can also select from elegant DreamGlas® Gallery Collection patterns and decorative hardware finishes.
